The “Climaxx” Dance Parties have come a long way since the first event was held back in July 2005. At that time the parties hosted a small crowd of party revellers. However, more recent parties have seen an immense increase in attendance.
Each “Climaxx” Dance Party has a theme which is echoed by the decoration and carried throughout the event. Past paries have included "LUVBALL" which culminated with the end of PRIDE FAIR DAY. From 10pm the crowds started to arrive and the venue (Gilkisons Dance Studio) quickly filled up. The vibe was immediate! Not a single person was motionless as the support DJ warmed the crowd by playing a set of uplifting trance.
By the time the main headliner Melbourne DJ Scott Anderson took over the decks the venue was at full capacity. Anderson did not disappoint the crowd, spinning a collection of new and old classic trance. His mix was seamless as were the brilliant Lasers and lighting rigs.
More recently the “White” party held in July 2010 at the Italian Club saw the venue transformed into a wondrous white winterland. Sydney DJ Dan Murphy provided great uplifting music to dance the night away. All parties utilise both National and local DJ talent.
Fire twirlers, aerial acrobatics, podium and flag dancers performing in the background, refreshing Icy Poles, Chupa Chups, Snakes Alive and Snickers bars generously passed around for free during the night are signature features of “Climaxx” dance parties. And what a treat it is to see toiletries in the bathrooms so everyone can freshen up during the night.
“Climaxx” dance parties are always fun vibrant nights and are sure to be an event that will become bigger and better with each year.
